Meta needed deep, evidence-based insight into how content creators interact with their platforms — specifically to identify friction points that were slowing adoption of new features and undermining the creator experience. The research had to be rigorous enough to influence executive-level product decisions across a global user base.
As Senior UX Researcher at AnswerLab, I led the full research lifecycle across multiple concurrent studies for Meta and Skopos Novo. My methodology was deliberately varied — I selected the right tool for each research question rather than defaulting to a single approach:
Once data collection was complete, I synthesized findings into clear narratives built for executive audiences — translating complex behavioral patterns into prioritized, actionable recommendations that product and engineering teams could act on immediately.
Research findings directly shaped the product roadmap for one of the world's largest social platforms. By identifying and resolving usability friction early in the design cycle, the team avoided costly post-launch revisions and moved into feature deployment with validated design decisions. Stakeholders consistently noted the clarity and strategic focus of the deliverables, which helped establish a more research-driven culture within the client team.
